Luna Jazayeri has over a decade of dedicated service in the field of education. She is a seasoned English and Literature teacher, teaching skills in diverse educational settings, most notably in international schools, with a primary focus on Malaysia.Â
She has passionately cultivated a love for reading and Literature among students of various backgrounds and cultures, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing a deep appreciation for literary arts. She believes in an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, where students from different corners of the world feel valued and empowered to excel. With a proven track record of over a decade in the field, she continues to be a driving force in shaping young minds and instilling a lifelong passion for English and Literature.
Luna's session will be around how to make reading future proof.

Lauren Ebsworth is a passionate and seasoned educator with a wealth of experience in primary education, spanning both early years and juniors. Over the course of her career, she has dedicated herself to nurturing young minds, fostering a love for learning, and creating meaningful educational experiences for students. Her heart lies in the subject of English, and she has an unbridled passion for teaching it, especially the art of reading. Witnessing students unlock the magic of words and embark on literacy journeys is an incredibly rewarding aspect of her role. For the past 8 years, she has held a leadership role in English education within her school. This experience has allowed her to shape the curriculum, develop innovative teaching methods, and lead a team of educators in delivering high-quality English instruction.
Laura will be sharing their whole-school strategy of expanding reading horizon beyond school walls at Alice Smith.

Michelle King has worked in various roles within education since 2013 but her final role before joining Renaissance was a classroom tutor and designated safeguarding lead for an Academy Trust. Michelle has worked with Renaissances products within school for over 10 years and delivers training to hundreds of schools every year.
Michelle will be sharing strategy of nurturing schools to independently accelerate their growth.

Lingyu is International Business Development Manager for Malaysia and has been working with Renaissance for 3 years, helping schools in the APAC region delivering standard-aligned digital solutions in assessment and differentiated reading practices. With her educational background and her learning experience, Lingyu brings a wealth of insight in EAL learning and cross-cultural competency for international schools in APAC. Prior to joining Renaissance, Lingyu worked in publishing and gained her Masters degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology in UCL.
