Bring your colleagues the tools to increase student engagement and improve learning outcomes. Meet teachers, coaches, and administrators from neighboring districts and learn how to successfully lead Nearpod implementation.

To get the most out of this experience, please bring a fully charged laptop.

Schedule

Our morning season will focus on modeling best practices for adult learners as we discover new ways to share Nearpod with the teachers you will support. We’ll explore the methodology behind the resources we will share and consider the practical applications.

In the afternoon, participants will collaborate with colleagues and Nearpod professionals to create PD experiences, build a curriculum alignment document, and strategize implementation.

Participants will earn their Nearpod Coach certification and badge by completing this day-long course.

Enjoy catered on-site breakfast while the Nearpod team kicks off the event with a welcome message and activities.

9:30 am

Session 1: Building Nearpod Knowledge

Addressing the adult learner, exploring Nearpod mini lessons, navigating your Nearpod account, and sharing resources with colleagues.

12 pm

Lunch

Enjoy a catered on-site lunch while networking with your colleagues.

1 pm

Session 2 & Workshop Time

Building on the morning session, learn how to create lessons in Nearpod while using the dedicated work time to prepare them for your classroom and receive 1:1 support.

2:30 pm

Reflections & Closing

Conclude the day of learning with reflections, feedback, a group picture, and the celebration of receiving your new Nearpod Coach Badge.
