Amy Malone has been an international educator for 20 years, with experience teaching 5 different curriculums. For the past 12 years, she has been a teacher and Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator at St-Joseph's Institution International Elementary School (SJIIES) in Singapore. Currently teaching Grade 2, Amy is passionate about helping all children become lifelong readers and is never without a good book herself.
Amy and Deidre will be will be sharing their strategy of nurturing intrinsic motivation and building a culture of readers in the schools.
Deidre Hazlewood has been Assistant Principal of Curriculum at SJIIES for 13 years and an educator for over 25 years in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Her experience as a Literacy Consultant in the UK fostered her love of building literacy-rich communities and supporting educators with the tools and resources they need to inspire a love for reading in their students.

Claudia Breakwell has worked in Education settings in the UK and internationally for seven years. During this time, she had gained an MA in Education from King’s College London and had worked in both primary and secondary schools. She had led on digital learning and reading, which has given her oversight of the Accelerated Reader programme. In her current role, she specialise in ensuring academic progress in Key Stage 1, with a key focus on the development of early literacy.
Claudia's session will be around "Creating a Balanced and Engaging Approach to Developing Early Reading".
Michelle King has worked in various roles within education since 2013 but her final role before joining Renaissance was a classroom tutor and designated safeguarding lead for an Academy Trust. Michelle has worked with Renaissances products within school for over 10 years and delivers training to hundreds of schools every year.
Michelle will be sharing strategy of nurturing schools to independently accelerate their growth.
 Teresa is a senior business professional with more than a decade of experience in the education sector. With a background in teaching and curriculum development, she has honed her skills in bilingual education through her work in international schools in both Hong Kong and Italy. Her educational background includes earning a PGDE and a Master degree, which have equipped her with a strong foundation of knowledge. At Renaissance Learning, her expertise lies in assisting school groups and ministries of education throughout the APAC region in their pursuit of customized Ed-tech learning solutions in assessments, data analytics and reading practices.
Teresa will be giving welcome and open remarks for the event.
